Planeta Orgânico is a vertical portal, created in 2000 after consideration of the increasing demand for organic products, not only in Brazil but also in other countries, especially in Europe and in the United States. Till 2000 there was no address in internet that offered information in Portuguese and English about Braziian organic suplly chain
Planeta Orgânico was this first address and remains the internet reference of Brazil´s organic sector.

Our first aim  is to draw the Brazilian organic profile.In a second moment we might direct our experience with Planeta Organico to others countries organic profiles too.

Today’s consumer is attentive to the issue of environment preservation and is more careful with the quality of his food. The two concerns are met by the organic concept.

Its content is permanently brought up to date and offers a wide variety of services, from research to commercialization, including production, certification, consulting, events and publications.

The aim of this site, besides promoting the organic concept and the role it plays in your health and in preserving the environment, is also to make the consumer aware of the importance of organic production in the sustainable agriculture and its effective participation in the planet’s health.

Furthermore, a permanent profile of the country’s organic production and its commercial relations with the world will be traced based on Organic Planet’s data base, which is enriched with each visit.

Since 2002, Planeta Orgânico is the official representative in Latin America of BioFach Brazil , BioFach America Latina,successful events realized in 2003 and 2004.

Since 2005 Planeta Orgânico´s team is also organizing in partnership with Nuremberg Global Fairs and Organic Services, the trade fairs BioFach America Latina and ExpoSustentat.

The next expected sucess of this partnership will be  BioFach America Latina and ExpoSustentat 2007 that will happen in São Paulo, Brazil, October 16-18 at Transamerica Expo Center.
